But at least it's stable. Jbridge is an absolutely essential part of my system W7, Cubase 5. Denying him the ability to ACCESS the software simply because he PAID for the wrong KEY is Fucking Nonsense! Sorry to hear that, but why do mention Portugal twice?

All future updates up to v1. Maybe you should read up on it sometime. I was told this was due to limitations of the demo version. But unfortunately I spent 2 years making research reading and coding before putting jBridgeM out.

Discussion

I recently purchased jbridge after using the demo in an attempt to bridge my 32bit plugins for use in 64bit ableton 9. After having done so I would advise against it for 2 reasons. Jbridge only caused ableton to continually crash. I was told this was due to limitations of the demo version. The developer also practices awful customer service. There are apparently 2 different sites for the mac and windows versions of the software who does that , both of which look almost identical. Having been to the Mac page previously, when I landed again on the windows version of the site, I did not realized that I was on a different page. I purchased the windows version by mistake and the developer is refusing to give me the proper mac version. I have just learned that Jbridge is developed by some shady scammer from portugal. Point is, its not stable, and its not worth supporting someone who is attempting to scam people out of money. Based on my experience, I cannot support the use of a piece of software developed in a guys bedroom in the middle of nowhere portugal. I'd wait until a reputable company develops similar software. I have used jbridge many times with Abelton with no issues, it's a great shareware program that is pretty cheap for what it is the windows URL is here the Mac URL is here perhaps you didn't know this but on the internet it is quite possible to have different pages on the same site. So you have a page for Windows and I know this is crazy a different page for Mac. I had a chat conversation with him once about technical aspects of the AU interface , and he takes his stuff seriously. Anyway, I don't know how you approached him, but your tone here is, let's say, belligerent. I know Portugal isn't known for software development, but it's a developed country, and the best audio software comes from Europe Logic, Cubase, Native Instruments, Linplug, Papen, PSP, XILS, etc. Ok, so you buy the product from here apparently without reading the product description : You're sent exactly the product that you bought. Then you complain that you were scammed because you didn't receive a product that you didn't buy. You then demand something that you didn't buy in a rude manner and start making defamation based on false claims. Well, yes, please let people know about it. I'm all for it. I get that jbridge did not work out for you and I can't comment on the quality of the jbridge software given my completely OTB setup. I'm a software engineer and I have seen some of the biggest piles of crap developed by so called CMMI maturity level 5 companies. I have also seen amazing and robust software developed by people in their bedrooms. I also wouldn't necessarily describe Portugal as nowhere. You said you ran the demo which says to me the software was working enough for you to part with cash. Its unfortunate you bought the incorrect version. I have done this myself in trying to solve computer related issues. You have already set this up yourself in demo mode so the risk of stuffing it up is small. While I don't know what has transpired between you and the jbridge dev, I find that patience is sometimes rewarded when dealing with stuff like this. They don't operate like corporations. Some will accuse me at being biased towards the dev. As a software engineer myself maybe I am, but I have seen thousands of instances similar to this where someone has goofed something and then translated their anxiety onto someone else to fix it. If this isn't you then cool. Happy Christmas I recently purchased jbridge after using the demo in an attempt to bridge my 32bit plugins for use in 64bit ableton 9. Speak for yourself fella, jbridge is amongst the top 5 pieces of software I've ever purchased for my studio. I'd recommend it all day long, especially if you want to run nebula. Different strokes I suppose. The developer also practices awful customer service. Could not disagree more, I had some issues and I must have exchanged 10 emails with the guy as he guided me through, and it turned out it was my mistake. And he was extremely polite about it. Jbridge is an absolutely essential part of my system W7, Cubase 5. I bought my R8 from a guy in Portugal as European R8's cut through the mix better. It was mint as due to the de-education of the people at the hands of a fascist government he thought it was a decorative cheese board and had never used it for beats. I will not buy jbridge twice to show my support. I recently purchased jbridge after using the demo in an attempt to bridge my 32bit plugins for use in 64bit ableton 9. Sorry to hear that, but why do mention Portugal twice? If the guy was from Utah or some place in the states, would you have mentioned it twice too? Good luck sorting that out, but in case you don't believe that, Portuguese people aren't all scammers at least the ones not running the country... JBridge works great for me. The whole premise of this thread is bogus. It is a critical piece of software for my DAW Sonar X3 and is supported directly by my DAW. Do you seriously think the Cakewalk people would have explicit support for it built into all VST config pages if they thought it was that bogus? How is it that you, the OP, make a mistake then create a nonsense thread on GS to try to trash a legitimate developer putting out software that works and works well for a huge number of people? Seems like a real troll move to me. Here comes the snarky comment: But why would anyone want to use 32-bit plugins in 2013 going on 2014? As far as I'm concerned, there is no plugin that is so special that you would tolerate using any type of bit bridge software. That's just asking for instability and crashes. Just find a 64-bit alternative for your plugin s and move on. For the people who are wondering what was SNIP'd here, please allow me to explain. I posted that this thread is the exact example why having a thumbs-up only option is a bad idea. It appears based on the positive rating of OP's comment that he has a legitimate gripe, when in fact he does not. To forum visitors and members reading about J-bridge this post may scare people away from buying a perfectly awesome piece of software from a developer who worked his ass off to write this awesome bridge. Without the ability to counter with the thumbs-down on posts like this, bad comments like OP's appear legitimate and that is not fair to the developers who worked on the product that he is bashing. I referenced the admin to this thread to show him a perfect example of why it was bad and he decided to take it upon himself to delete my message. This is pertinent to the discussion at hand and quite frankly I'm blown away that it was SNIP'd. Here comes the snarky comment: But why would anyone want to use 32-bit plugins in 2013 going on 2014? I can run 5 instances of sylenth for every 1 instance of Spire or TAL-Bassline, it's insane how efficient it is. Also my waves plugins are only 32-bit VST at the moment, so that's another 100+ plugins. But the strong point of 32-bit plugins is CPU efficiency. You're better off using Vienna Ensemble. But at least it's stable. Waves plugins are all 64 bit. You just need to upgrade. True, but if you are using a 64-bit host, all your plugins should be 64-bit as well. For every person who claims that their bit bridged host works reliably, there are probably another 10 who experience repeated crashes. Why do you think Apple dropped support for 32 bit plugins in Logic X?

Are you sure you don't want me to cancel it. But unfortunately I servile 2 years making research reading and coding before putting jBridgeM out. Does this seem crazy to anyone els. Please try the demo first. Why choosing the best eBook app is difficult. I was going to give my old Mac to my daughter. North never used it was about to, thats jbridge mac crack torrent i stumbled on this I dont know if there decision would have been due to the whole piracy facter. People already pirated your software and it's available via Torrents if you look hard enough. I have just learned that Jbridge is civil by some shady scammer from portugal. You just need to upgrade.
